The Temperature is sizzling, the hamburgers are grilling – I love summer in New Mexico!
Here is 6 month old Yvette – service puppy in training. She will be with us until next summer and then goes on to puppy college. I can’t wait to teach her to fish!
Day of the Dead Celebration – October 28th
Make sure you mark your calendars for the 2012 Dia de los Muertos celebration. This annual event will be held at the South Broadway Cultural center on Sunday from 1-5. There will be great arts and crafts, displays, activities for the kids, wonderful food and live music. It’s a must attend event!’
I thought I ordered “No Onions”
Come see Frank on Saturday July 7th at the annual Patrician Design Sidewalk Sale. The event is from 10:00-2:00 in front of Patrician Design @ 216 Gold Street – (between Broadway and 2nd). George and Gracie love the blueberry pancakes at the “Gold Street Cafe” next door. See you there!
Frank and his #1 son-in-law went fishing today. First stop was Harry’s Roadhouse in Santa Fe for their spectacular pancakes. Fishing – what a great sport!
Frank went to Ruidoso to get some picture ideas, a little camping and beautiful scenery. On the way home we stopped for lunch at the Buckhorn Cafe – should have stayed for dinner too.
Frank just bought his fishing license – that’s the “who cares” part – the good news is that he’ll be out getting more ideas for pictures
Frank added a new picture today. “Traditions” is his entry into a poster contest. The competetion is part of the New Mexico Cenntenial celebration – keep your fingers crossed!
Frank took 2nd place in the door competion for a great fundraiser for a terrific community. The doors were auctioned and prizes given for 1st and 2nd place. The theme of the event was “No Place Like Home”
Frank’s door – (32 X 80 -yikes!) was called “Finishing Touches”
The music was terrific, the food delicious and so many people came to say hi – it was a really fun show.
Come see Frank at the Range Cafe – 6:00-8:00 Friday May 4 – lots of free food and great music.
